Wind Energy Engineer
Wind energy engineers are engineers who design wind farms, and they harness the power of the wind. They are also involved in supervising the manufacture of rotor blades or other equipment.
For wind energy engineers to design wind farms they develop site specifications, plan to manufacture, and test all the hardware and electrical components. They even go as far as to build the roads and transport the components to installation sites.
Some wind energy engineers analyze the aerodynamic properties of new designs, run tests, and document the results. These engineers may also do tasks like evaluating issues of compliance with health and safety codes.
