Water is a very important part of our well-being and the quality of water we use must be of a healthy standard. Water quality analysts develop purification and treatment procedures to ensure the quality and safety standards of water being used for drinking or agricultural use are met.
Career Details
Individuals in this career clean wastewater and they do this by manipulating the pumps, valves, and other equipment to remove impurities from the water.
Water quality analysts perform several duties such as collecting and analyzing water samples, and they develop and coordinate the implementation of environmental management systems. They also conduct audits to evaluate the environmental impacts of existing activities.
