Daily, plumbers perform duties that include reading and interpreting blueprints, fitting and repairing household appliances, and cutting, welding, and assembling pipes. And plumbers have excellent knowledge of water supply, heating, and ventilation systems.
In South Africa, you do not need a college degree to become a plumber, but industry-recognized training is required to become a qualified plumber. And you must also pass the trade test to become a qualified plumber and then you are allowed to register with the plumbing industry registration board.
